Brookby Pet Lodge is the Auckland pet hotel cats, dogs and their fur parents pre-fur

We relocated with my cat and dog from Australia to NZ and had them stay here while we moved into our new home. When we came to collect them from the kennel we arrived to our dog dripping in dog urine and extremely hungry, we had to race to a local dog wash which took us over an hour to wash the urine and smell out of our fur baby.

Sadly our experience with collecting our cat was not much better as when they collected our beautiful ragdoll kitten, when they handed us the cage we looked inside to see a different cat gave us our cats collar saying she wouldn't let them put it on her. (probably because it was the wrong cat ) !! Geez, if I didn't look inside and went home with the wrong cat 👏

When we got both pets home they were drinking and eating like they hadn't had anything in days.

Would strongly recommend doing your background checks on this kennel as the experience has left us distressed about how our animals mistreated.

The staff were not friendly at all and the fact you can't even go to see where they are staying makes me query the conditions. (Except that I had to go into the car are and find my correct cat)
